Arve Falls

Location - Hartz Mountains National Park.  Park entry fees apply.

Time - 20 minutes return.

This leisurely walk starts from a small car park about 1 km past the Waratah Picnic Shelter and follows the Arve River.  Through alpine herbfields and snow gum woodlands, the walk takes you to the edge of the plateau where the Arve Falls tumble into the valley below.  Signs along the way introduce you to the landscape and its special plants.
