HASTING CAVES Newdegate Cave Tours - Explore Newdegate Cave on a 45 minute guided tour. You will be amazed by the caves vast, richly - adorned chambers that began their formation million of years ago. Tours are hourly (from 10 a.m.) throughout the day until (4 p.m.)during January and February, check times for other months of the year and are suitable for all ages. HASTINGS THERMAL SPRINGS Wonderfully warm, astoundingly clear, thermal springs water in a 1.2m deep pool, plus a paddling pool for small children. Amenities include change rooms, toilets, showers, undercover and forest canopy picnic areas, forest walks, electric bbqs, open fires and drinking water. HASTINGS VISITOR CENTRE Cafe snacks, ticket sales, souvenirs and site information.

Directions: Travel from Hobart through Huonville, Franklin, Geeveston, Dover. Head towards Southport, at the junction to Southport look for the sign pointing towards Hastings Caves follow the road to the Visitor Centre |

Latest News
From the 1st March 2010 Hastings hours of operation will be 10 am to 4 pm with cave tours operating at 11, 12, 1, 2, 3 p.m. being the last tour of the day. Pool will remain open until 4.00 p.m.
Where else can you enjoy a cave tour, all day access into the Thermal Springs pool area, plus short walks, bbq and picnic facilities all combined into one package.
